2013 Curly Flat Lacuna Chardonnay

Lacuna is Curly Flat’s unoaked Chardonnay. Lighter in colour than the standard Curly Flat displaying a very pale straw core with faint hints of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose shows a shade more intensity with aromas of pear and fresh white peaches over some citrus, subtle biscuity nougat and mineral. Light, elegant, very fresh and youthful the palate has a Chablis like flavour profile and texture with flavours of nectarine, white peach and citrus followed by some very delicate wet stone and mineral on the finish. Bright fresh acidity with an aftertaste of nectarine, white peach, subtle wet stone and mineral.
Cellar 6-8 years.
