Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red to brick red hue. Aromas of ripe mulberries and plums meld into some vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied, soft and relatively elegant the palate has flavours of ripe mulberries and dark cherries which sit over vanillin cedar with a spicy finish. Velvety tannins with an aftertaste of spicy ripe mulberries, dark cherries, earthy black olives and vanillin cedar.

Other Reviews….
The hue is bright and clear, the varietal expression on both bouquet and palate equally clear; dark cherry, plum, black olive and bramble are synergistically interwoven, framed by ripe tannins. Is Cumulus' best merlot to date. Drink by 2028.
