A blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Shiraz matured for 18 months in French oak.
Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromatics of spicy ripe dark raspberry, plum and liquorice overlay some vanillin oak and lightly scorched earth notes. Medium weight the palate is filled with juicy ripe dark raspberry flavours that sit alongside some liquorice, plum, subtle vanillin cedar and spice. Soft velvety tannins with a long sumptuous aftertaste of ripe dark raspberries, plum, liquorice, subtle vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
