2013 Charles Sturt Shiraz

Fruit is sourced from Gundagai and Wagga. Opaque dark purple black colour with a dark purple hue. The nose is quite reserved with subtle aromas of liquorice, black olives, smoky cedar and dried meats. Medium bodied and more generous in nature than the nose the palate has flavours of blackberries, liquorice, smoky cedar and peppery dried meats. Dryish finish with relatively firm, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of blackberries, smoky cedar and peppered dried meats.
