2013 Carn Mor Strictly Limited Teaninich 8 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Tasting note: [30ml sample] Marginally less fruity than usual for this distillate with suggestions of Ugg boots, pineapple pudding and apple tart. Nice mouthfeel; full, rounded and oily with just the right amount of juicy vanilla malt sweetness set against drying astringency. Unusual, being x-red wine cask matured, though typically moreish Teaninich. 47.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 1455 bottles.
