2013 Black Jack Block 6 Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red purple tinged hue. The nose displays dark cherry and liquorice aromas with an overlay of lightly smoked vanillin cedar underpinned by earthiness and pepper. The palate is filled with spicy dark fruit flavours intermixed with liquorice overlaid by smoky dried meats followed by vanillin cedar and a peppery finish. Elegant meaty textural feel with fine grained tannins and a long aftertaste of peppery dark cherries, liquorice, dried meats and vanillin cedar.
