2013 Best's Great Western Bin No. 1 Shiraz

Pours a very youthful looking inky black dark purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. The nose follows on from the wines youthful appearance delivering pronounced aromas of fresh blackberries, dark cherries and plum followed by some liquorice, earth and vanillin cedar. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses good richness with generous flavours of inky fresh blackberries, dark plums and liquorice over some vanillin cedar, earth and pepper. Dryish finish with an elegant structured mouthfeel and slightly chalky but balanced tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of inky blackberries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, earth and pepper.
