2012 Yelland & Papps Devote Old Vine Grenache

Matured in new and old French oak for 20 months. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. The nose displays perfumed aromas of ripe dark raspberries and plum with traces of incense also evident followed by some liquorice and vanillin confectionary. Succulent and joosy the palate sports a rich flavour profile of dark raspberries and plum which overlay some very subtle liquorice, confectionary and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Long joosy dark raspberry, ripe plum, confectionary and spice aftertaste.
