2012 Yangarra Estate Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue showing excellent colour saturation. The nose expels lifted scents of ripe blackberries and liquorice followed by some black cherries, subtle vanillin oak and spice. Rich and joosy with a full bodied mouthfeel the palate is well structured with flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice underpinned by some lightly toasted vanillin oak, delicate meatiness and spice. A solid assertive but balanced tannin structure imparts some chewiness on the finish. Long liquorice, ripe blackberry, vanillin confectionary and spice aftertaste.
