2012 Willem Kurt Shiraz

Sourced from the Alpine Valleys, King Valley & Beechworth. Deep dark red black colour with a purple crimson red hue. The nose displays subtle aromas of dark cherries, dried meats, smoky cedar and light pepper end notes. Medium weight the palate has a light elegant mouthfeel and a sense of freshness with flavours of dark cherries and spicy pepper over a background of dried meats and subtle earthy cedar. Quite savoury with fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, plum, dried meats and pepper.
