2012 Water Wheel Baringhup 5 Rounds Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black core with a deep dark purple black hue. Pronounced aromas of ripe blackberries, dark plum and liquorice emerge from the glass over some subtle toasty vanillin oak and spice notes. Bursting with fruit in typical Water Wheel style the palate is filled with succulent blackberry and liquorice flavours over a background of toasty oak and blackpepper. Excellent weight with opulent textural qualities. Velvet smooth tannins with long joosy blackberry, liquorice, spicy toasted oak and blackpepper aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2014-2018).
