Rich, silky and powerful

Malbec is grown throughout Mendoza, with the Uco Valley in the south including the sub districts of Tupungato and La Consulta, two new hot spots for cooler climate Malbec. Bramare (brah-MAH-reh) is an Italian word meaning "to yearn for", and pays tribute to the heritage of the Marchiori family.

Maturation took place in a combination of French and American oak of which 31% was new for a period of 18 months. Totally impenetrable colour displaying a midnight black core and very deep dark purple black hue. Intense aromas of black cherries, blackberries and liquorice jump out of the glass with underlying notes of dark plum, vanillin cedar, faint earth and spice. Featuring a rich, bold personality along with luscious textural qualities the palate delivers an opulent flavour profile of ripe black cherries, liquorice and blackberries followed by some smoky vanillin cedar, a touch of earth and spice. Magnificent power with solidly built velvet like tannins buffering the huge core of fruit. Very long conclusion of ripe black cherries, blackberries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, a touch of earth and spice.
Cellar 6-8 years.
