2012 Vavasour Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. The nose exhibits good aromatic lift with scents of black cherries and anise as top notes followed by some toasty oak and spice. Medium weight the palate possesses generous flavours of spicy black cherries, anise and subtle toasty oak with the spiciness persisting right through to the finish. Very fine grained tannins. Good power wave with long spicy black cherry, anise and subtle toasty oak aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
