2012 Vasse Felix Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose expels aromas of blackpepper, black olive and dried meats with traces of black cherries, liquorice and cedar also present. Medium weight with an elegant refined mouthfeel the palate has flavours of spicy black cherries, subtle liquorice, dried meats and black olives with a peppery overlay. Very fine grained tannins. Excellent length finishing with a medium to long aftertaste of dried meats, black cherry, liquorice and black pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
