2012 Two Hands Fields of Joy Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with a bright dark red black tinged hue. The nose shows good intensity with aromas of ripe blackberries and dark plums followed by some liquorice, confectionary and a hint of spicy cedar as an end note. Bold luscious flavours of dark plums, ripe blackberries and liquorice wrap around the palate in voluptuous fashion followed by a touch of dark chocolate, smoky vanillin oak and spice. Silky smooth tannins further enhance the supple nature of the wine. Long aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, smoky oak and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
