A blend of Grenache, Mataro & Shiraz. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced black raspberry and black cherry aromas intermixed with a touch of liquorice are followed by meaty characters, a hint of earth and spice. Rich and opulently textured the palate is swamped with ripe black raspberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours with a very spicy back palate and nuances of dried meats and earth also present. There’s a slight heat spike on the finish and the tannins are quite velvety, yet solid. Long aftertaste of spicy black raspberries, black cherries, liquorice and earth. A big rich Steading.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc 15.5%
