2012 Torbreck The Factor Shiraz

Superb totally opaque midnight black colour with a deep very dark crimson black hue. Intense and intoxicating aromas of liquorice, dark ripe plums, dark chocolate and ripe blackberries are overlaid by smoky vanillin cedar and spice. Plush, super rich and powerful the palate delivers a hedonistic flavour profile of liquorice, dark ripe plums and blackberries that completely saturate the mouth. In the background is a touch of dark chocolate, a slightly elevated level of toasty vanillin oak (in comparison to previous vintages) and spice. Voluptuous fleshy texture with silky smooth polished tannins. Exceptional depth finishing with a very long conclusion of ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
