2012 Stefano Lubiana Primavera Pinot Noir

Showing excellent depth the wine opens with a deep dark crimson red black tinged core and a crimson purple hue. Perfumed violet and dark cherry scents evolve from the glass followed by some subtle toasty oak, meaty game like characters, earth and spice. Light in weight the palate has very good power with ripe dark cherry and plum flavours to the fore over a background of dried meats, light anise and spicy cedar. Dryish finish with velvet smooth tannins. Long spicy dark cherry, plum, cedar and dried meats aftertaste.
