2012 St. Hallett Butcher's Cart Shiraz

Excellent colour saturation with an inky black purple core and deep dark purple black tinged hue. The nose shows very good intensity with liquorice, ripe blackberry and dark chocolate aromas intermingling over a back drop of vanillin oak and light spice. Medium to full bodied with a silky soft mouthfeel the palate offers up rich plush flavours of ripe blackberries, dark plums and a touch of liquorice followed by some spicy vanillin oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and spicy vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
