2012 Springton Hills Wines Rock Ridge Shiraz

Matured for 24 months in oak. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose offers up aromas of dark chocolate, liquorice, mocha and vanillin oak. Medium bodied with a soft velvety mouthfeel the palate has flavours of dark chocolate overlaid by a strong vanillin oak mocha component with a touch of spice following. Silky smooth tannins and low acidity with an aftertaste of vanillin oak, mocha and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
