2012 Singlefile Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. Nosing reveals scents of blackpepper and liquorice followed by some blackberry and dried meat like characters. Medium to full bodied the palate features rich blackberry flavours intermixed with blackpepper and liquorice over a meaty background with some underlying spicy cedar and a peppery conclusion. Very fine grained velvet like tannins. Long peppery aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice and dried meats. A savoury meaty style of Shiraz.
Cellar 5-6 years.
