2012 Sarsfield Estate Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Scented aromas of dark cherries and subtle anise are overlaid by meaty characters, a hint of earth and spicy cedar. Light in weight the palate features flavours of dark cherries and fresh ripe strawberries followed by some meatiness, cedar and spice. Elegant supple mouthfeel. Very fine grained tannins finishing with an aftertaste of dark cherries, meatiness and spicy cedar.
