2012 Samuel Billaud Les Fourneaux Chablis Premier Cru

Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and watery hue. Nosing reveals a delicate aromatic profile of citrus, a faint hint of toast, wet stone and mineral. Possessing a more textural mouth feel than the entry level Samuel Billaud Chablis the palate has flavours of citrus and stony mineral followed by some pear and a faint hint of hazelnut emerging on the dry clean finish. Good crisp acidity with aftertaste of citrus, stony mineral and very light hazelnut.
