2012 Saint Clair Pioneer Block 5 Bull Block Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose offers up ripe dark cherry and dark plum scents intermixed with some anise, dried meat characters and spicy cedar. The palate delivers generous dark cherry and dark plum flavours showing good power with some underlying meatiness and spicy cedar. Very fine grained tannins with a medium to long aftertaste of dark cherries, dark plum, meaty cedar and spice.
