2012 Red Hill Estate Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with deep dark purple hue showing very good colour saturation and depth. The nose exhibits youthful inky blackcurrant and dark plum aromas followed by some cedar and spice. The palate possesses good weight but is quite youthful and tightly knit at present with flavours of inky blackcurrant, a touch of dark cherry, dusty cedar and spice. Firm dryish tannins impart a slightly chalky feel on the finish. Aftertaste of inky blackcurrants, earthy cedar and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
