2012 Punt Road Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of mulberry, cedar and tobacco leaf are followed by spice end notes. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of ripe mulberry and subtle blackcurrant over a background of tobacco and spicy cedar. Fine grained tannins. Slightly dryish finish with an aftertaste of mulberry, tobacco and spicy cedar. A very elegant Yarra Valley Cabernet that’s quite savoury.

Totally opaque black dark crimson colour with a dark crimson red black tinged hue. Aromas of mulberry and dark chocolate are overlaid by a very faint whiff of bay leaf followed by some cedary tobacco like characters and spice. Medium bodied with an elegant feel the palate has flavours of dark mulberries and dark chocolate followed by some cedary tobacco and spice. Dryish finish with sturdy but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of mulberries, dark chocolate, cedary tobacco and spice.
