2012 Piano Piano Sophie's Block Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose reveals aromas of ripe white peaches intermixed with subtle dried honey characters, citrus, cashew and faint match stick. Medium to full bodied with a rich flavour profile and round creamy textural feel the palate features ripe white peaches intermixed with nectarines and dried honey over some roasted almond characters, funky matchstick characters and spice. Clean dry finish. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe white peaches, dried honey, roasted almonds and struck matchstick.
