2012 Penley Estate Phoenix Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black dark crimson red colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose opens with bay leaf like top notes followed by some more subtle blackcurrant, cedary notes and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is generously flavoured with blackcurrant, bay leaf infusions, subtle cedary tobacco and spice. Dryish ever so slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, bay leaf, cedar and spice.
