2012 Olivier Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet

Burgundy, FRANCE
$84. 99
Bottle
$1019.88 Dozen

Often seen as the premier village for White Burgundy, not least due to the fact it contains four Grand Cru vineyards along with some of the very best Premier Cru sites. Wines from Puligny often have very precise, floral notes and are generally finer than those of Chassagne and Meursault.

Other Reviews....
This is enticing from the first sniff, with floral, peach, lemon and spice flavors beautifully integrated with the smooth texture. Stays bright and refreshing through the long finish. Drink now through 2018.

The wine has a great balance between its rich fruits and the wood aging. It shows concentration, the ripe peach and apricots full in the mouth and laced with acidity and full bodied frutiness. It’s both serious and full of charm, a wine thats developing well and should be ready to drink by 2016.
