2012 Oakridge Over the Shoulder Cabernet Merlot

A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe red currants and mulberries are followed by subtle cedary tobacco characters, earth and spice. The elegant medium bodied palate still possesses good fruit richness with spicy red currant and mulberry flavours sitting over lightly dusted cedar and some faint dried herb infusions. Dry finish with finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of spice, ripe red currants, mulberries, dusty cedar and dried herbs.
