2012 Moss Wood Amy's Cabernets

A Bordeaux styled blend made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot. Opaque black dark purple red colour with a dark purple black tinged hue. The nose is a touch restrained with aromas of blackcurrant intermixed with hints of bay leaf followed by some cedary tobacco and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is more forthcoming with beautiful rich blackcurrant fruit dominate over a background of cedar, tobacco and spice. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Excellent length with a long blackcurrant, cedary tobacco and spice aftertaste.
