2012 Maverick Twins Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson colour with a deep very dark crimson red black hue. Scented aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum are overlaid by some mocha and vanillin oak. Full and rich the palate presents opulent flavours of liquorice and ripe blackberries followed by some dark chocolate with spicy vanillin oak characters on the back palate. Supple round texture with velvety tannins. Long sumptuous aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, subtle dark chocolate and spicy toasty vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
