2012 Mad Bastard Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque inky black colour with a very dark crimson red black hue. The nose displays fresh blackcurrant aromas followed by a hint of liquorice, bay leaf, cedar and spice. Medium weight with good fruit richness the palate is reflective of the nose exhibiting flavours of blackcurrant intermixed with bay leaf over a background of cedar, light toastiness and spice. Slightly dryish but very fine grained tannins. Elegant structured mouthfeel with an aftertaste of blackcurrant, bay leaf infusions, spicy cedar and tobacco.
Cellar 5-6 years.
