2012 Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc

Fruit for this wine was sourced from a variety of districts including Casablanca, Colchagua Andes and Leyda Valley. Brilliant water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose shows very good intensity with aromas of herbaceous gooseberry, green apple and lime overlaid by some grassiness. On the palate passionfruit and ripe gooseberry meld together followed by a touch of asparagus and some herbaceous grassy characters on the back palate. Clean crisp dry finish with aftertaste of passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberry and grassy asparagus.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2013-2015).
