2012 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Scented ripe blackcurrant and mulberry aromas arise out of the glass with underlying spicy cedar, tobacco and bay leaf notes. The medium bodied palate has beautifully rich, yet refined fruit flavours of blackcurrant and mulberries with infusions of dried herbs, cedary tobacco, spice and faint bay leaf also apparent. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins provide great structure. Excellent depth with a long conclusion of blackcurrant, mulberries, spicy dried herb infusions, light tobacco and cedar. Elegantly textured this is a wine of great finesse.
