2012 Izway Mates Grenache Mataro

Deep dark red purple colour with red purple hue. Nosing reveals top notes of freshly crushed dark raspberries alongside some youthful blackberries followed by earth, confectionary and spice. Light to medium weight the palate is filled with succulent raspberry jube flavours, plum juice, a touch of liquorice and earth with a spicy finish. Soft velvet smooth tannins. Long joosy dark raspberry, plum juice, earth and spice aftertaste.

Drink over the next 4-5 years.
