2012 Hewitson Ned & Henry's Shiraz Mourvedre

Matured in French oak. Opaque black crimson colour with bright crimson purple hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe dark plums alongside some liquorice with undertones of subtle earth and spice. Medium weight with a plush fleshy mouthfeel the palate has flavour of dark plums and a touch of liquorice with underlying toasty cedar and a spicy back palate. Soft velvety tannins with aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, lightly scorched earth and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
