2012 Heggies Riesling

The 2012 Clare Rieslings are on a roll, with nearly every release to date offering superb concentration and acid structure - a benchmark of the vintage style.
Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and watery hue. Intense lemon and lime aromas are followed by some orange rind and mineral. The palate delivers the outstanding flavour concentration with mouthfilling lemon and lime flavours dominate followed by a touch of orange rind with a crisp mineral infused finish. Superb depth with long lemon, lime and mineral aftertaste.
Drink now or cellar 5-6 years (2012-2018).
