2012 Hay Shed Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Opaque black crimson colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose reveals a bouquet of mulberry and light blackcurrant overlaid by some bay leaf followed by some cedar and spice end notes. Medium bodied with an elegant mouthfeel the palate has flavours of blackcurrant infused with bay leaf followed by some subtle cedar and spice on the back palate. Slightly dryish but very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, bay leaf and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
