2012 Giant Steps Gladysdale Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright crimson red colour with crimson red hue. Nosing reveals lifted scents of ripe dark cherries and strawberries followed by some gamey characters and spicy toasted oak. Lighter bodied but generously flavoured with ripe dark cherries and strawberries dominate over some gamey cedar characters, subtle earth and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of dark cherries, strawberries and spicy cedar. Drink over the next 4-5 years (2013-2017). Alc 13%
