2012 Gemtree Vineyards Bloodstone Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson black hue. On the nose liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas arise from the glass followed by some plum and vanillin confectionary. Full bodied the palate boasts an abundance of richness with succulent ripe blackberry and dark plum flavours followed by some liquorice and subtle spicy oak. Velvet smooth tannins with medium to long ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and spicy toasty oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
