2012 Garnier & Fils Vaudesir Chablis Grand Cru

Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose displays pronounced ripe pear and white peach aromas overlaid by some dried honey characters which are followed by cashew, a hint of toast, citrus and spice. The palate is richer and creamier than the two Garnier Premier Cru Chablis featuring flavours of ripe pears, dried honey and cashew over a background of biscuit, hazelnut and spice. Clean dry finish with excellent textural feel. Long aftertaste of cashew, ripe pear, dried honey, biscuity hazelnut like characters and spice.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
