Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice and black cherries are intermixed with smoky cedar and dried meats followed by light peppery end notes. Medium bodied the palate possesses flavours of liquorice, plum and ripe dark cherries which are overlaid by dried meats, smoky oak and subtle blackpepper. Quite supple in the mouth with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of earthy dark cherries, liquorice, smoky dried meats and blackpepper.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Bright, full colour; it has an extremely fragrant bouquet, with spice and fruit engaged in a courtly dance, the medium-bodied palate building on the bouquet with its plum and blackberry fruit set in a web of fine-grained, savoury tannins, and subtle, compatible oak. Drink by 2032.
