2012 Domaine Felines Jourdan Picpoul de Pinet

Produced from 100% Piquepoul grapes this is one of Languedoc’s oldest varieties producing light fresh dry white wines with good textural character. Bright straw colour with a pale straw hue. Quite fragrant the nose displays lychee, pear and honeysuckle like notes intermixed with some lemon. Light and dry with a nice textural feel the palate has flavours of fresh pear, honeysuckle and citrus finishing with a touch of spice on the back palate. Clean crisp acidity with aftertaste of ripe pear, honeysuckle and spice.
