2012 Delas Saint Esprit Cotes du Rhone

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromatics of black cherries and liquorice are followed by dried meat characters, a hint of anise and spice. Medium bodied the palate features generous rich black cherry and liquorice flavours alongside some meatiness, subtle scorched earth and spice. Firm dry finish with slightly grippy but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe black cherries, liquorice, dried meats, subtle earth and spicy pepper.
