2012 Craggy Range Te Muna Road Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with a crimson red hue. Nosing reveals black cherry and dark plum scents followed by some anise, violets and spicy cedar. Fleshy palate texture with flavours of dark ripe cherries and dark plum intermixed with anise followed by subtle meatiness and spicy cedar. Good power and excellent structure coupled with its usual fruit richness. Velvet smooth tannins with a medium to long spicy anise, dark ripe cherry, dark plum and meaty cedar aftertaste.
