2012 Coriole Shiraz

A Coriole Shiraz of excellent length, structure and richness. Totally opaque inky black colour with a very dark crimson red black tinged hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice and subtle black cherries intermixed with some dried meats, lightly smoked cedar and black pepper. Full bodied the palate is decked out with a plenitude of rich opulent fruit including liquorice and black cherries which are followed by dried meats, smoky vanillin cedar and pepper. Dryish finish with solid robust tannins that still remain very fine grained and in perfect balance. Long aftertaste of liquorice, black cherry, smoky vanillin cedar and peppered meats.
