2012 Catena Malbec

Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson purple hue. Delicate violet top notes are followed by dark cherries, blackcurrants, earthy cedar and spice. Medium bodied, savoury and with good richness the palate features flavours of ripe dark cherries and blackcurrants followed by subtle liquorice and spicy cedar. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrants, dark cherries, cedar, light earth and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
