2012 Bundaleer Volunteer Cabernet Sauvignon

Outstanding totally opaque inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. The nose exhibits lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrants intermixed with some plum and liquorice over a background of cedar and spice. Full bodied the palate is densely packed with rich opulent blackcurrant and liquorice fruits over some vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly chewy finish with a solid robust tannin structure necessary to support the huge core of fruit. Excellent balance and depth with a long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar. A big rich robust Cabernet.
