2012 Bent Creek Black Dog Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in American oak. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with a dark crimson red black hue. Showing good perfumed lift the nose displays top notes of ripe blackberries and dark plums followed by dark chocolate and vanillin oak. Full bodied, rich palate flavours of dark plums and dark chocolate are to the fore over toasty vanillin oak and spice. Solid but fine grained tannins with an aftertaste of dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
